Guest guest
I'm wondering what would happen with my feedback loop if I took 100mcg Levo one day and 150mcg Levo the next and so on? I was on 75 & 100 alternating a while back and it seemed to be fine at the time. I can split the pills, but I remember someone here having a different weekend dose (was that you Sue?) and I wondered what your thoughts are about this. The fish are biting. Guest guest
Hi Judy, I remember I was playing around like that but didn’t notice anything good out of it so I am back to 100 / 20 daily. Guest guest
I've done alternating doses with T4, and with natural, when trying to make an increase more gradual. Considering the pills are 50 mcg different in dose it would be better to alternate for a while rather than jump from 100 mcg to 150 mcg all at once.... It was suggested to me by my endo after RAI... My personal choice would be to stay on the alternating dose schedule for the full six weeks, as with any other adjustment.. For me, now... I'm getting so good at splitting pills... I can do a 2 grain into 6 doses, a 3 grain into 8! So I pretty much split stuff to make my doses. I can even split a 25 mcg T3 into four! There are times, though when my body isn't happy with adjustments... that's when I'll go to alternating dosing to make an increase that much more gradual... it all depends on how my body is responding.. Guest guest
Judy: I hope I'm not interrupting... Regarding t4.. To answer your question, since the half life is 7 days...(or supposed to be)...you can get away with alternate doses. If you took the same dose for instance...every day of the week except for one day....it wouldn't matter. It would just change your overall intake for that WEEK. Right now...I take a whole 125 mcgs on Sundays, and the rest of the week, I take 1/2 pills. THAT...overall makes my intake at about 72 mcgs per day. THIS...is a great way to tweak your meds, and customize your own dose. ~E:) --- Judy P ygroupsjp@...> wrote: > I'm wondering what would happen with my feedback > loop if I took 100mcg Levo one day and 150mcg Levo > the next and so on? Water, water, everywhere, And all the boards did shrink; Water, water, everywhere, Nor any drop to drink. ~The Ancient Mariner ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Cheap talk?
