I saw this article and as a fellow to our furry companions everywhere wanted to send this to all of you so that you could be aware to. This is not a myth as you will find a link to the American Verterinary Medical Association and their study on it below.

As a thyroid patient myself, I just had to pass it on. I myself avoid using cans whenever possible because of the known link between aluminum (in deodorant, foods and other products) and Alzheimer's Disease/Dimentia. I now have another reason to not use them... of course, that doesn't mean I'll be licking food lids any time soon...
