Have you asked your Dr or your pharmacist? Maybe there's another insulin

you can use that would be cheaper?

Subject: Novolog

I'm repeating my problem: I've been paying $25. for Novolog - but day before

yesterday the new price is $144.00 due to the Bush/Republican Congress RX

bill. My social security check is $553....Any suggestions? Any of you have a

cheaper source? ~Lainie~

Lainie,

All of the prescription assistance programs I'm aware of are for people

without insurance.

Is it possible for you to find a different prescription drug plan? I know

there are many of them available, and you have to check what medications you

are on to see which ones are best for you. Maybe your pharmacist can direct

you?

Otherwise, you might see if your doctor will switch you from Novolog to

Novolin, it's a lot less expensive, but it is a little different.
