Guest guest
Hi all, I just wanted to welcome the new members and tell you that this site rocks when it comes to support and understanding. Alot of my personal friends and family do not understand nor are they very supportive. They don't understand how the thyroid effects so much of one's life. Too many times I was told this was all in my head that I was a hypochondriac. It wasn't until I got really bad and was diagnosed with one problem after the other that they even began to get a glimpse of what I had to function thru. Alot of the dysfunctions, diseases and disorders that I have can be connected to my thyroid. Depression, anxiety, hypothyroidism, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, type 2 diabetes, diverticulosis, spondylitis, degenerating spinal arthritis, carpal tunnel, tarsal tunnel, osteoarthritis and a few allergies. I wear glasses, use a hearing aid and walk with a cane. Oh and my latest discovery is an inner ear disorder that effects my balance and i get dizzy alot. My doctor just recently said because of the fatigue depression and the fact that i spend more time in bed than out of bed for the last 2 1/2 months. Oh and Mom gave me diet smart vitamins to take everyday and I lost 42 lbs wirhout even knowing or trying. So you got the questions I am sure someone has an answer or advise to get you going in the right direction. This is the first energenic day I have had in the last 7. So I am hoping I am on the upswing spiral and staying there for awhile. Robin
