Guest guest
Oh I forgot to add a few things. I take mine for my daytime sleepyness. I think my night meds are not strong enough though i dont stay asleep and dont feel that rested mind you with the stuff im having to deal with the past few days... i dout anyone would get a good night sleep so hopefully when things are sorted I can better judge if my nighttime meds is the right amount for me. I dont know why your son is taking them. Are they to stop certain behaviors? I think perhaps you should talk to Tim Hartshorn about Behaviors as communication. Perhaps some of his behaviors are his only way he can think to communicate a problem. Again speak to tim and discuss the behaviors that have led to taking the meds in the first place. Its possible the meds might not be what he needs if they arnt helping compleatly or at least enough to warrent such a dosage. Has your son had any sleep studies to determin if he is getting adiquite sleep? Ie no nighttime seizure activity, no sleep apnea. Does the behaviours come and go, do they coincide with illness. Id love to talk more but I have a full plate of stuff to do today. I feel better though. Im not sure what options I have if ODSP stopped and I had no income. I think Cathy Proll can help me. Anyways Tim's the one to ask about behaviours, meds im not sure who you should ask but I used to have a website on the medication dosages for kids in relation to their size and weight (as apposed to age) but I couldnt find it. Weir may still have that information if its still available on the web. Chantelle
