Guest guest
I just wanted to say that I am a 25 y/o female that had no history of medical problems and my family had no history of medical problems or seizures. In 2002 I experienced something that was tramatic and was placed on meds for anxiety and depression. While moving back to San from Dripping Springs I was under a tremendous amount of stress and had a seizure that lasted about 5 minutes and I was transported to the hospital. All of my labs were negative and my CT was clear. I also had a headache to treat and a few sore muscles. I spoke to a psychiatrist after this happened and he upped my meds and stated that if I took a higher mg this should take care of any cause relating to my seizures. Well, while I was at our Fire Department right after our board meeting ended I again had another seizure and this time I was transported by AMR about 10 min after to a local hospital who also told me I was fine and most likely it was stress that caused my seizure. I had one more about 1 yr later and after this I decided to pull myself off of all of my meds and it has been a LONG time since my last and I was and have been under a great deal of stress, etc.. I am not stating that this is a fact but it is my belief that my meds had everything to do with it. Again this is just speaking from my experiences with seizures and meds and because of the time frame I am assuming this is what caused mine. I wish you the best of luck and hope that your son is okay. --------------------------------- Ahhh...imagining that irresistible " new car " smell? Check outnew cars at Yahoo! Autos. Guest guest
It's a good feeling you know, that in a time of troubles, we put aside all of our opinionated differences and come together. I cannot begin to tell you all how good a feeling it is to see the responses, and I can't count the number of emails I received privately as well. I sat tonight, and read through quite a few of them with , I think he fell asleep still in awe. I think he will sleep well tonight knowing how many have offered thoughts and prayers...I know I will. Words cannot express it. Mike
