I'm just short of 4 years since diagnosis - found out in time for my

birthday in March 2003 - had a bilateral mastectomy by choice, 4 doses of

Adriamycin/Cytoxin every 3 weeks, then 4 doses of Taxol every 3 weeks.

Stage 2 with 2 out of 5 nodes positive - then 35 radiation treatments. Have

been on Tamoxifen since January of 2004 (prior hysterectomy/oophorectomy put

me in menopause). My labs were fine as was my chest x-ray = so NED again

and I am so thankful. At present, we are looking at another 2 years of

Tamoxifen, then 5 years of Femara. He is very much one to follow the latest

studies but finds no reason to jump ahead to try things just to try them. I

appreciate that very much. Well, enough rambling.
