I hope I am reading this right - did Kendra play today? Big " high five " for

her! ) Team experiences like this are so moving - embodying the best in

humanity, team spirit and community. Do they get a uniform? She would make a

uniform look adorable - but she is adorable all the time!

Yuka, yes, you are correct, Kendra played today in an opening day game with her

team. I will share the " high five " with her.

Thank you for your lovely words about Kendra being adorable all the time. I

will share those words with her also. :-)

The team does have cool uniforms. The Little League and Little League

Challenger teams around here both have uniforms reflective of national baseball

teams. Kendra's team has been the Nationals, the Dodgers, the Mets and the

Giants in different years. So those team logos appear on their uniforms. I

think Kendra was thrilled to get her first uniform, back when she was in middle

school. She continues to be thrilled each year as it is a wonderful experience

to be out in the spring air and playing with others.

I so agree with you about the team experiences of this nature embodying the best

in humanity!!
