I'm now 17 weeks along and had a thyroid ultrasound a few weeks ago

(waiting for my appointment to come next week so we can bring the

reults to the doctor) and it was smaller than a normal thyroid. I had

blood tests today to check my T3, T3 and TSH levels. I'll get the

results back on Monday. I feel so much better, though... I'm now on

2.5 Tefor pills (synthetic T4) a day and have energy and am not

lagging or anything. I've been in contact with a couple other

pregnant hypo women and they've been great in helping me realize that

pregnancy and hypothyroidism isn't the end of the world!

(PS It's a girl)

I have a four-year-old boy (Jack) and my husband and I were reeeeeeally hoping for a girl to complete our family. :) We'll name her after my brother ...she'll be called Dani Delal (a Kurdish name meaning 'beautiful').
