good news

Hello everyone, I am Mrs. Keri Ward now!!!!! I am so sorry I have been gone

for so long, but I had my surgery two days after our wedding and I am just

now feeling better. I didn't handle the anestesia well. I hope everyone is

doing good. Could someone update me on everyone? The wedding went good

except for a problem with my cousin (long story, I will explain later) I am

so happy, and really enjoying being married. We only got one night together,

for our honeymoon, because I had surgery the next day, and we can't have sex

for four weeks while I am healing, but they checked my tube during the

surgery, and it is clear!!!!!!!! so we will be ttc soon. Yeah!!! I had alot

of scarring, but I haven't really talked to the doctor yet because I was

drugged, we go back in 3 weeks so I will know more. My ovarie was fused to

my colon, that is why it was hurting when I ovulate. I am probally

rambleing, and am all over the place, but if any one has questions, feel

free to ask and I will upda! te more later. I hope everyone is o.k. I have

missed you all.-----Keri Ward (hee-Hee)

Nine months ago I joined this group and my first post was a big whine

(would you like cheese with that?) about how could I expect my fiance

to marry me with all the shit hitting the fan, how it wasn't fair

that I'd be sick for my wedding, etc. ad nauseum. Well...

WE'RE GETTING MARRIED TOMORROW!!!

We had been planning to get married at the end of the month, but with

my health declining, I told I wanted to get married before I go

into the hospital for either transplant or dialysis. So, here we go!

It's going to be a simple court house ceremony followed by brunch at

a beachfront resort with my parents. For the honeymoon we'll be

staying in town, spending one night at the beach (without my

parents!) and then doing all the things we keep saying we want to do

but never get around to, like mini golfing and horseback riding and

going to the Shedd Aquarium. Sweet, goofie things like that!

Thanks to all of you for that initial support in talking me " off the

ledge " , so to speak.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Congratulations !! Your wedding sounds lovely...my hubby and I got married

in a simple ceremony out by a lake in Crystal Lake IL...that was 17+ years

ago...sigh. We also had a simple honeymoon...we stayed at a nice hotel locally

and shopped for all the things we needed for the house. :-) It was fun and we

had a great time just wandering the shops and picking out the furniture to put

in our new home.

I hope you can stay away from the hospital for a good long time but I also know,

like me, you're realistic about it. We'll be here for you every step of the

way.

Have a wonderful time tomorrow and enjoy your honeymoon!

Well you have proved it once again....I sometimes think I am a jaded

old man (rather silly at 44 but you know what I mean).

Now that I am snuffling all over everything, keyboard, sandwich, and potato

salad included....my hopeless romanticism is proven again....

You go girl!

Lemons = lemons

Lemons + sugar = delicious lemonade!

So glad you added sugar to your lemons ....blessings to you and your

(about to be) husband!

Thanks Amy! 17 years, huh? Boy, that's hard to imagine right now. But

then again, not. This last 11 months of being engaged has really

flown by, and every minute together has felt right and natural.

Many more happy years to you :D

Bart, you are too sweet yourself! I hope you have lots of sugar in

your life as well.

And by the way, shame on you for eating *potato* salad! And you'd

better not be getting crumbs in the keyboard again! (I'm practicing

my wifely nagging :D)

Thanks Cathy and Genevieve! In case I miss anyone, thanks again to the

Well since I am on lots of Lasix now the potassium doesn't seem to be

a problem....so I slide the odd potato in here and again (and if I must say

my potato salad is pretty good.....tells you a bit about MY love life,

doesn't it??? Making potato salad rather than tripping the light

fantastic....oh, my.....)

Ah, romance!

Your fiancé is a very lucky guy....and you don't seem to have done too badly

either!
