I have a totally new perspective when I see women who have lost their hair, I want to go up and hug them, but I dont want to impose on their privacy. I think that education is important for people who are trying to support friends and family that are going through this. Guest guest Posted January 17, 2007 Report Share Posted January 17, 2007 CJ I never wore a wig when I lost my hair, just a pink ball cap with breast cancer buttons and a 'Cancer Sucks' button. Hat said 'fight like a woman' on it. I was always pleasantly surprised how many people came up to me and told me they had breast cancer and asked how I was doing or said they would pray for me or whatever. DON'T be afraid to say something to someone to someone... you just might make their day. My only regret with having my hair grow again is that I don't NEED my hat anymore. Maybe next summer... I'll just wear it for fun and I can tell every one I'm a cancer survivor!!!!
