Guest guest
Hi I just had my last radiation treatment on Wed. I feel like I have reached a milestone. 28 treatments and seven boosts. It upsets me to hear that radiation causes cancer. Who knows ,it might be true, but I don't want to hear that kind of thing right now. I feel like we need to have postive reactions to our " milestones " and maybe I am hiding my head in the sand to not want to think of the worse. But the point is, I agree that we don't need anyone on this list trying to make us feel worse, when we are all doing the best we can. Just my 2 cents worth. Once again I so admire all your ladies that have gone throught chemo, still don't think I could have done that. I am so happy for this group :-) Robin in Nebraska

Guest guest
Congratulations Robin!!! I'll be done this Thursday. I feel like a little girl getting a really great birthday present and I'm sooo excited, even though I already know what the present is! I hope it all went well for you. Take care. Guest guest
I too finished my radiation last Thursday and started my tamoxifen right away. Mine was 25 treatments with 5 " boosts " . I too also admire the ladies who go through chemo. Go to see the medical onc. next Monday and then scheduled for a mammogram next month. Was lucky that with my radiation that I only had some skin burning that was like a sunburn but with no blisters. ne > > > > Hi > > I just had my last radiation treatment on Wed.
