Guest guest Posted January 16, 2007 Report Share Posted January 16, 2007 about half year ago, my mom knew that she has a advance breast cancer that already spread to her liver. after so many way of treatment wa use (natural, herbal, chinese, and also doctor) finally we met a doctor, also who refered by someone we closed to. firstly we use a immun therapy ( i forgot the name) twice, at the third, the doctor offer us to a stronger treatment ( taxol) after 6 times ( 3 week 1 chemo), finally thank's God my mom bald, her nail also have a clinch, and maybe her body also not strong as the old times. but, here we are still survive. the last times when we consult to the doctor, he tell that my mom is ok, the cancer in liver is gone and in breast are not active, we check 2 monthly. the things is when someone face this disease, information is vital, so i hope more people will get this information. also mentally is very relevant aspect, when somebody can't deal about this convict, they can't make it worse through they mine. can i asked about information treatment after chemo session so we can maintain the condition, maybe about what food do we eat or what variable that we have to watch ( sgpt/sgot? gamma? ) PS: be strong, you're not alone. information is really vital, search for a information as much as u can, and when you can't deal about your situation yet. you have to find someone (clear minded, preferly friend ) to accompany you to make a decision about your direction.it's important. about the money that you have to spend, i know it's not easy, maybe u have to use your lifetime saving. . finally it's you the one who can decide what you have to do. but still you have to talk to somebody regards, sunnyayang Jakarta/Indonesia Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Now that she is done she needs to keep up with scheduled test and dr appointments. If her dr has any furter instructions for her be sure she follows them.
