Guest guest Posted February 3, 2007 Report Share Posted February 3, 2007 Well I got out my bottle to call in my refill of Armour and noticed that the pharmacy did NOT give me Armour brand the last refill I got. The brand I got was the same size and color and I just didn't think to really look. You'd better bet I'm gonna be looking at my refill tomorrow when I pick it up!! Topper: No..don't thinks it a used-to thing. I have two bottles. One my mom just picked up..like two days ago from the pharmacy. The other, was from last month...with lots of pills still left. She's only taking a quarter pill a day or something...so there all these full grains still sitting in the bottle on the counter. EVERYTHING about the pills are identical...no moisture...no integrity missing on either bottle. ONE (the new one) is full of stinky pills..and the other one is full of slightly stinky pills. I just so happen to have not had my regular 30 mgs with me and it was late in the day when my next dose was due. I took a 1/2 grain of the newer one since I was visiting and thought WHY not? That the new bottle just has the smell more concentrated? Are the bottles repacks or original Armour bottles? With the repacks, where the pharmacy puts them in the little brown (I think they all use brown) bottles and make labels for them, they've come out of bulk (1,000) count bottles that the pharmacy buys... so one bottle could be significantly more 'aired out' then the other depending on how long the pharmacy had the bulk bottle... just a thought...
