Guest guest
HI Everyone, My mom has brest cancer in her liver and then over the holidays, they confirmed it was in her other breast. Opposite from the original diagnosis. Just found out last week that the breast biopsy showed it was HER2nu in the breast was positive, so she will be adding herceptin to her Taxotere treatments. Has anyone else had different pathology results from different cancer spots? Her liver biopsy was HER2nu negative. and brest was a low positive. We don't meet with the oncologist til next thursday. Some other questions. When reading about herceptin on the there website, it mentions they give the drug every week for 52 weeks. Others, is that the dosing schedule your on? My mom has taxotere every week (its a lower dose than the 1 every 3 weeks, I understand they are doing the lower dose because of the cancer in her liver). Now, the herceptin will be once every 3 weeks? Any opinions re advice? Thanks, Connie
