I didn't connect it to the Arimidex, but maybe that was it! It was just awful - I thought it was just because my hair (in general) was growing back, but it could be linked to the Arimidex. I did not have hair loss as a side effect, but had a friend who had thinning and had to switch to Tamoxifin. I also switched to Tamoxifin a month ago because I had severe bone pain from the Arimidex. Just starting to feel better now (it takes 4 to 6 weeks for it to get out of my system). Back to the hair thing on my face, it eventually stopped growing and my skin is back to normal. Phew! Best of luck - everyone's side effects are different - glad to hear that you are not experiencing the bone pain one. That was not fun! Hugs!
