new center addressing behavior and learning

This afternoon I received information about a new center opening in

Massachusetts. It is called The Gottschall Center.

The center is named after Elaine Gottschall, a wonderful person, mother and

thinker, who was successful in helping her daughter overcome a debilitating, and

painful medical condition. Last year Elaine died and apparently the center that

is being created is honoring her legacy.

The center, http://www.gottschallcenter.com will be following protocols to

address learning, communication and behavior issues in children and adults. The

center will implement certain biomedical approaches to these conditions. One of

the striking features of the center will be an organic farm, I believe for the

adults in the program, that they will have a significant hand in running.

We have followed parts of Elaine Gottschall's book: Breaking the Vicious Cycle

to address some of Kendra's digestive and related learning issues. The book is

interesting and details the amazing story of her daughter's healing.
