Like call the surgeon today to have a port put in and if he can't have it in by next week will do a pick line and oh by the way if he puts in the port tell him to leave the needle in so we can access it. Ask how many days between port install and chemo and he said no wait can even do it the same day if we have to. Going to do 6 rounds of FEC (fluorouracil, epirubicin and cytoxan). Any body doing that group of drugs?? He said 2 of his most recent patients had not lost any of their hair from that treatment. Hope the treatment is kind to me next week....
