Guest guest
Thank God I found this web page. I have Hashi's, all but 1/8 gland surgericaly removed in 2002 and have felt real bad recently. They had me on 100 mcg Eltroxin, my T4 is at 3.95, and last 3 yrs anemic issues. Weight has gone up to 193 lbs, hair doesn't grow, tired, grumpy etc. Many thanks to Topper who took the time to review my results and pointed out to me that I am underdosed, She provided me the info & courage to approach my Dr, and just today they have increased my meds to 150 mgc daily Eltroxin, and will monitor bloodwork in March. So now you have a little of my situation and I wanted to connect and say Hello. Anyone out there that has more info re: Hashi and how it works, where it came from, what to watch for and do about etc., I'd love to talk. Guest guest
Hey ... See how much you've learned already? Once you get to understanding this stuff it's a lot easier to talk with the doc... helps to have a doc that listens... I'm still so pleased with his change in your treatment... he seemed so negative when you and I first started 'talking'. Guest guest
Yes, Topper, I am so relieved. I really thought I would have a big fight on my hand too. I started the new med today and I guess in a few weeks we'll see what it does. I forgot to ask if I should still pursue the adernal replacement support, or should I wait to see what the T4 increase does? Take care and thanks again so much. > > Hey ... > > See how much you've learned already?
