Guest guest
Well, I saw my new allergist today and eventhough her name is spelled KWAK, pronounced KWOCK, she is really cool! The visit lasted about 2-3 hours and she was very interested in the Nutri-Meds adrenal support supplement. She did research on them and said that they did have the standard adrenal hormones in them so they would work and that I should come in to have a 24 hour cortisol test ran to check my levels along with some other adrenal gland blood work (can't remember now as she called before work) LOL but it looks like I finally found a doc who would completely listen to me... yay!! I'll be having blood tests ran for food allergies this week and wouldn't you believe it? On the skin prick test, the only thing that came up (not mold or cats or dogs or grass OR trees) but dust mites and cockroach pooh! LOL. Interesting huh?? I'll let you know what all tests I have ran and what they say. I'm really really interested in what she has to say about my adrenal problems. Re: What kind of a scam is this ? Guest guest
,Congratulations! How relieving to find a doc who not only listens, but acts on it too, and doesn't forget. Guest guest
Glad you got a doc willing to work with you..I did the skin, and bllod but nothing significant came up until I did the patch..so keep that in mind..especailly if you think you are chemically sensitive.. On a good note I took my blood pressure pulse yesterday,,the last while it has been 130/95 and a pulse running around 95-105.. It was 126/75 and pulse 76... And to think this was all due to B12 and the soap I washing my hands with..knocking on wood but I am close to 6 weeks with no allergic reaction..
