Guest guest
I want to thank each one of you who answered my question on Chemo brain ! My Onc said she didn't believe chemo brain existed and I started to wonder if I was losing the plot !! So I do appreciate finding out I'm not alone..I am so glad to belong to a group like this... I was diagnosed with bc-her2 pos-stage3. on 28th Aug 06 I had a mastecomy of my right breast and all lymph nodes removed (the nodes were clear) ....As you all have experienced the roller coaster ride from this disease you will know first hand the tears and fears that come with this ride ! One moment your feeling well and the next surgery-chemo- rad-chemo and you have no time to absorb what is happening to you. Having this group to for support, encouragement and sharing has changed my life..I wish each of you a New Year with GREAT health and happiness.. Guest guest
: Amen to the roller coaster! Last week I was whining and this week feeling good. Things have really moved fast since my diagnosis on November 16, 2006. I still cannot comprehend the diagnosis of breast cancer. I have the soon to be scar to prove that something happened to my body but the emotional scars have not yet developed. Thanks for your post. Guest guest
Hi , As nne said, there are numerous articles and studies on Chemo brain, though I think it's only recently that it was recognized as a real side effect. Not to belabor the point, but some women get Stage & Grade confused. Grade describes the type of tumor cell; Stage is how progressed the cancer is. If your nodes are all clear, I don't think you can be Stage 3. - wrote on 1/11/2007, 6:47 PM: > I want to thank each one of you who answered my question on Chemo > brain !
