Hi all,

I'm a newbie here and don't understand many of the posts because of

abbreviations that are foreign to me. Is there something in the

archives that explains the various abbreviations used here? Thanks,

I see posted a couple of site for you. If you forget an abbrevation

please don't hesitate to ask what it is.

here are 4 of the most common:

b/c = breast cancer

a/c = adryiamiacin/cytoxan (a common chemotherapy regimin)

er = estrogen receptor (either positive or negative)

pr = progesteron receptor (either positive or negative)

(forgive my spelling errors ;) )
