Guest guest Posted January 10, 2007 Report Share Posted January 10, 2007 With most all scans, I know definitely bone scans, the dr can get the verbal report the same day and the written one in 2-3 days. I would call your doctor, explain to him/her how stressed out you are and ask them to call for the verbal results. This was told to us by a nurse that they are available the same day. I had a bone scan and the dr called me back 2 hrs after the scan, with the results. Depending on the type of blood work it may take a little longer especially when they send it out for results.Also ask the dr for something for your anxiety. I will keep you in my prayers.
