Hello everyone,

I only post once in a while... I posted a while back about having to have

another A1C done since my last one 3 months ago was 7.1 .. It has increased

to 7.3 and have been taking metformin for one week now (500mg in the am,

will increase that to 500mg in the am and pm beginning today). I have

already seen a drop in my numbers and am very pleased about that. I do not

feel exhausted like I did before, more energy since my sugars have come down

My mother is spending the summer with me, so will have a 4th of July get

together with my two daughters and their families and my ex-husband (we get

along so do family things together with no problems). I am enjoying her

stay and hope she is too. I think she is. I had a friend over yesterday to

scrapbook (she got here around 10:15 am), she is a hoot when she gets going

talking. I think my mother enjoyed listening to her. She left last night

around 11:00pm... so we really spent a day scrapping. I finished 6 pages.

I wish everyone a safe and fun-filled 4th of July celebration this year.

Oh, I have not had any problems with side effects of metformin... nothing

and I am glad of that .. I hope that will continue once I start taking it

morning and evening.
