Guest guest
One week from today, our new puppy is arriving. After losing Max in early December, we can't go on around here without a new " dalmatian " to love. We gave " up " some of our gifts for Christmas to help with the costs of this new one ($1,000.00). There is a boy and a girl, so hubby will pick the right one for sweetness, love, etc. The breeder had a picture of Max from 18 months old...we're all SOOOOO excited!! Guest guest
Dogs are the best therapy. I have 2 dogs-both female- a King Cavalier- who is a lap dog and cuddles with me like a stuffed animal and a Tibetian Terrier who we rescued. She is a free spirit- but I think she detected my cancer before the doctors. Right before my diagnosis, she was all over me, wanting constant affection and she is not usually like that. Hard to describe, but strange. I didn't think anything of it until I was daignoised. my husband even agrees with me. We knew someone whose dog was able to detect cancer in patients- the dog would visit hospitals and only would go to you if you were cancer free. Enjoy your new friend Eileen > One week from today, our new puppy is arriving. After losing Max in early > December, we can't go on around here without a new " dalmatian " to love. Guest guest
I want to get a dog!! so much!!! Animal Care and Control is right up the block, and I want to adopt a dog...thing is, whenever I bring it up with my son (8 years old) he says " mommy, it's too much responsibility mom! you work and i'm in school... " but then he says... " why do you want a dog? you have me... " so I have to introduce a dog slowly... marisa > > One week from today, our new puppy is arriving. Guest guest
Hi , Do you think you could capture some of the smell of that new puppy and post it? Yum, babies and puppies, there's nothing that beats the smell of either, not even chocolate, and I LOVE chocolate!!! I'm sorry to hear you lost your Max, it's such a hard thing to go through. And although Max can never be replaced, a new pup sure helps to fill that huge hole. Aren't dogs absolutely amazing? They give sooo much and all they ask in return is food water and love. (and frisbee throwing for my Izzy) Have fun with your new one and sniff he or she for me Peace and love, Cealy ssist@... wrote: One week from today, our new puppy is arriving. Guest guest
yes, dogs are great, my two have been all over me lately, Everyone thought at first that it was just a leader of the pack thing, but as my health gets worse, the dogs get closer. I can't do anything without them I have a red nose pit/ stafordshire mix female, and a male papillon. A crazy mix, but very lovable. Lori Re: New Puppy Dogs are the best therapy. Guest guest
Hi, marissa, you might be able to get your son to be more enthusiastic about a dog if he thought he was rescuing one. He sounds like he has a big heart and is very thoughtful. It might appeal to him in that manner. Good Luck Lori Re: New Puppy I want to get a dog!! so much!!! Guest guest
Had to take our dog Patches to vets on my birthday in December and thought she was doing better . we saw her next day and then she passed the next day. We saw an add in paper and they had one dog left and we got it a boy Bandit. Both Cocker spaniels...this one Blond in color..the other one Black and White. Bandit is now 13 weeks old and is a biter.
