Subject: in Medford

is Racheal's baby. He was born July 11. After about 2 weeks in

NICCU he came home. He has been doing well and has gained weight

consistently. He was under 5 pounds at birth, and now, over 8 pounds.

Today, Racheal took him to his pediatrician, because he has been having

a bit more trouble breathing. Right after she examined him, she sent

him to Rogue Valley hospital in Medford where he was admitted. A few

hours later he is being flown by helicopter to Doernbecher Children's

Hospital in Portland. They say he has an infection but they cant find

where. I am wondering if the hydrocele, left testicle is the sourse of

the infection that they cant find?? They have intubated him to help him

breathe in case of apnea. has VSD and awaiting surgery when he is

10 pounds. I dont know what they will do now. We are very worried, and

are praying for him tonight.

Liz,

We will pray for you, your family, and until we

hear good news from you. I am so sorry this is

happening... hopefully things will change for the

better once they get the antibiotics going.

Dear Liz,

I send prayers your way for . Please keep us posted about how he is

doing once he gets to Portland. We lived there for a long time, so if you

all go up to Portland let me know if you would like any information about

what is available in the city in case you are not familiar with it. Kendra

had many surgeries and was treated many times at Doernbecher.

Best wishes to you all,

in Medford
