Guest guest
The info line has a number of questions relating to the Canadian workshop, so I'll post here. Its Canadian prices but yes, those from the US are welcome!!! SATURDAY, OCT 21 , 10 am is the workshop with Conny VanRavenswaaij, Netherlands; Dr. KD Blake , Dalhousie University and Dr. Prasad, London Health Science Center ......no there isn't a bus leaving after the workshop for " Octoberfest " ...(a huge party relating to the German clan who settled near Toronto); and YES TORONTO IS SAFE!!! Now that said, yes the Delta Chelsea hotel, where we are staying had a murder yesterday, but NO it is not the norm AND those who attended in Canada in 2004 will tell you that the Detla is one of the nicest hotels and is top rated, and has a fabulous pool. Toronto is A VERY SAFE CITY, especially compared with crime stats from many US cities, seriously!!! YES we have welcomed children, and there are plans for INTERVENTION and interaction to take place in a separate area then the lectures room. All that said, Register soon, http://chargesyndrome.ca/2006octregistration.htm and please pass the information along to those you know in education, therapy, medical fields, etc...but Dr. Blake is really looking forward to meeting the families. There also is the possibility for blood draws to take place, and Hospital for Sick children is looking now to help Dr. Blake with the study, and may do blood draws that weekend. Sorry to pop in and out!!! Ann Gloyn, Educaiton Specialist, Canada

Guest guest
Ann, Is it okay to list this workshop in our calendar? CHARGE Accounts will go out late September- early October. Would that be too late for people to sign up? I still have the announcement that you sent to the list in August. n ann_gloyn wrote: > > The info line has a number of questions relating to the Canadian > workshop, so I'll post here. > Its Canadian prices but yes, those from the US are welcome!!! > SATURDAY, OCT 21 , 10 am is the workshop with Conny VanRavenswaaij, > Netherlands; Dr. KD Blake , Dalhousie University and Dr. Prasad, > London Health Science Center > .....no there isn't a bus leaving after the workshop > for " Octoberfest " ...(a huge party relating to the German clan who > settled near Toronto); and YES TORONTO IS SAFE!!! Guest guest
I believe Ann is gone for the weekend so I will answer for her! Yes, please n, that would be wonderful if the foundation would list the workshop on their calender and put a notice in CHARGE Acccounts. Thank you! Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
