Guest guest
, As you will learn everybody is different, there are some patients that are unaware that they are in AF. There are some patients like me who were/ are highly symptomatic and feel very poorly when in AF and felt whacked out and just wanted to sleep after an attack. I also use to get chest pains and this would take up to three day to subside. It really depends on how you feel during an attack and after an attack. Now your first question, there are really two types of AF (untreated) the fast AF and the slow AF. If you having meds then you should really not go that fast when having an attack, that you need to go the A-E ER if you do then you need a change of meds. It answer to your question the heart does go generally faster when in af but it not a real beat its an af beat. Hope that make sense. C Uk Hi Everyone, I have two more questions I've thought of: 1). Do most people tend to have higher heart rates during A-fib, or is it about half and half? 2). How long after an attack until you resume normal activities? Thanks!
