Suzanne,

I know there is at least one (Mari) and there used to be another lady named

Peaches that was close to 20 yrs or over I haven't seen her post in awhile. I am

a 16 1/2 yr survivor.

I had infiltrating ductal carcinoma, 2.5cm tumor, one bad node out of 23, Grade

II, Stage II. I had 6 mo of chemo (12 treatments) first 2 weeks Methotrexate and

5fu the first two Tues of the month, the 3rd week I took Cytoxan pills and

rested the 4th week. Actually outside of making sure I kept my dr appointments I

didn't make any changes. I have never taken vitamins even before my diagnosis,

except when pregnant did the pre natal vitamins.

I will keep you in my prayers.

Hugs

Long term survivors: 20+ years

Are there any survivors of breast cancer out there that are 20 years

or more past your diagosis/treatment? If so, what were the

details/spec of your diagnosis and what did you do for treatment, and

what life changes did you make (diet, exercise, vitamins, etc) to help

you out?

I'm looking for the voice of experience to help with some of my

treatment decisions.

Thanks,

Suzanne
