Guest guest
I've had breast cancer 3 times..1984. 1992 and 2003..Each time the doc said " i cannot help you. " But my lady oncologist in 2003 put me on Femara and it's doing great..but I'm 5 ft. 8 " tall, and ashamed to say I weigh 200 lbs..I was skinny in high school and weighed 135 lbs on my wedding day almost 53 years ago..I'm the gal married to the skinny chocoholic..It's in his genes. His mom, dad, bro and sister all are small and slim. My mom and dad were tall and big..My kids are tall...I'm just venting...I need to exercise, but walking is difficult because the neuropathy in my feet and legs has me walking with a cane..It's midnight, no snak tonight..Hugs, ~Lainie~ ~*Lainie~*The StarGazer*~ My Astronomy Website: http://community.webtv.net/LAINIE121/doc
Guest guest
Lainie, It so saddens me to hear such a strong woman who defeated breast cancer 3 times say she is ashamed of her weight. Surely that is not the only yardstick you judge yourself by? What a world we live in when someone who survived cancer 3 times can be so defeated by the numbers on a scale. Do yourself a huge favor, and throw that scale away. Refuse to be weighed. You are so much more than what that scale says! Laurie
