Guest guest
For those of you considering flying in for the CHARGE Syndrome conference (July 27-29, 2007 in Costa Mesa, California), here is information about airports: If you can fly into Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, CA (airport code SNA), it is only 3 or 4 miles from the conference location at the Hilton Costa Mesa. For information, go to http://www..ocair.com/ . Los Angeles International Airport (airport code LAX) is about 40 miles from the Hilton Costa Mesa. Their web site http://www.lawa.org/lax/welcomeLAX.cfm has info on ground transportation (shared vans, etc.). One company offering ground transportation is Super Shuttle and they reportedly charege $32 for the first person and $9 for each additional person in their party. You can call 1- to make van reservations. There is also a Long Beach, CA airport (airport code LGB) that is 20 miles from the hotel. Their web site http://www.longbeach.gov/airport/default.asp lists shuttle services. For information about the conference, go to http://www.chargesyndrome.org/conference-2007.asp If anyone has a question or comment for me, please e-mail me directly at wiseguy2@... since I do not read the listserve very often. -Mike Schwartz in Ventura, CA
