Guest guest
My husband would really like to go to Las Vegas after the conference & I'd like to make it work but I have a few questions. Has anyone driven from LA to Vegas? How long does it take? Are there a decent number of towns/rest stops? It's been 25+ years since we've been on the West Coast and my mother remembers LONG stretches with nothing but desert & she's worried about breaking down or having to change Eddie's diaper on the side of the road. It was also 114º when we were there. Is that typical? Is there any relief from the heat other than staying inside a hotel? Eddie doesn't sweat much. Thanks. Guest guest
Vegas has been built up a lot in recent years...lots of huge fancy hotels with themes like Paris, NYC, pyramids (the Luxor), etc. I'm not big on gambling, but the town is physically quite impressive.
