Guest guest
Yep, that was a question he asked in one espisode, “Would you want a nice doctor to hold your hand while you die OR have one ignore you while he saves your life?” House is awesome............ Sue Sue: I often wonder if the one of the writers was screwed over by docs regarding andrenal disfunction or thryoid disfunction. If you watch closely, these two things come up in almost every episode or are written on the white board. I love how he is the doctor/anti-doctor ..... You would love him to be your doc, even if he wasn't so friendly. AT least he would fight for you. OH...and yeah...he doesn't have a stingy attitude with a drugs either. ~E:) --- JustYourTypeDTP <justyourtypedtp@... <mailto:justyourtypedtp%40earthlink.net> > wrote: > My son who is 18 and “off on his” own in Boston > LOVES mimicking House -- he > wants to be him as well. > I have seen him on a few interviews, one with Ellen > and his accent is > awesomely British -- > I just LOVE that show and try to guess what the > heck IS wrong LOL! > > Sue .. Guest guest
I do like some of his lines, but the attitude is getting 'old' for me. I just put up with it because I love the stuff I learn while watching. I never did see the adrenal one. I'm not sure that I like that they condoned his forging prescriptions etc. to support his drug addiction. I didn't know what they would do with it, but he even made a joke about rehab and I didn't find that useful... Guest guest
I have a LOT of catching up to do with House... i just started a few weeks ago and have been renting the DVD’s out of order so I don’t know much of the storyline. I also don’t like that he eats pain pills like candy and I have even seen him offer them to patients at the clinic — I take it all tongue-in-cheek for now cuz I too love seeing the medical mysteries unfold and love that he does say what most of us just...think. Guest guest
Yes, it's been the first story line that actually carried through many episodes. Usually, each episode is a story that starts and ends and I like that. I try to stay away from the continuing ones, but you'll see what I mean when you get up to that point. It's been quite a few episodes now, but I think it's over and we can get back to the medical stuff. Maybe the writers needed a break!... Guest guest
Well when I skipped ahead like I did — (the store was out of the other disks and I needed a “fix”) LOL, I went right from season one to Season two where House was not in charge any longer and on probation of some kind and going after his wife and even had “romantic” scenes which seemed WAY out of character for him even though I do think he’s entirely a softy at heart. I just love the medical stuff — and I love the things he comes up with in his responses though he is way too cocky for “real” life— if I had a doctor like that, not sure what I would do! If he helped me, I would totally take his S#%t.Jackie he is way too cocky for “real” life— if I had a doctor like that, not sure what I would do!Sue
