Did you get labwork done too (TSH, Free T3 and T4, and thyroid antibodies)? If you haven't had the bloodwork done, when you do, please get the numbers so we can help you figure things out here in the group. You might need to get a fine needle biopsy. I will give you both. Labs: TSH 0.99 FreeT4 0.8 T3 96 Thyroglob Ab 10 Thyro Perox Ab 1 The ultasound results read that there is a dominant mass in the lower ple of the left lobe, it measures 1.8 x 1.4 x 2.1 cm. The wall of the lesion is defined. There are small cysts in the periphery of the lesion. There are no internal calcidications demonstrated within the mass. There is a small hypoechoic lesion within the isthmus, measuring 4 mm in dimension. It says that it most likely represents a small adenoma or complex cyst. No abnormal lymph nodes are seen in the anterior neck soft tissues. There was some more, but I am sending what seemed most helpful. My doctor has been a total jerk and has been making me think this was all in my hear or that it was depression. I did my research for the past week and found a doctor to switch to. He is in internal medicine. I see him on Monday. I know it is probably crazy to switch doctor's in the middle of this, but he just wasn't helping me. I have some serious chest and back pain,muscle cramps, shaking, diffculty breathing, nose bleeds and just generally have felt like crap. Again, any input would be great. Thanks, Sheri" J.
