Guest guest
Hi Phyllis - I do get nervous when I have medical procedures because of the fear of going back into NSR. I was in afib when they did the endoscopy so I got to see that monitor at the end of the bed going loopy. Hated that. Whenever I get nervous my heart jumps all over the place and I am not looking forward to the colonoscopy even though I am sure it will not be a difficult procedure. I'll try to balance potassiums on the day before. One of my dearest friends is dying from colon cancer (nothing more can be done after 3 years of a valiant fight) so I would not skip a colonoscopy no matter what. No problem at all. That was before a fib. Now I am afraid to do anything with or without drugs. How are you going to prepare for the colonoscopy? I guess one would have to be off coumadin. And hope all that dehydration does not trigger a fib.

Guest guest
Lil - you are of course right. I need to gird my loins and do it. I need a strategy for not being on coumadin and maybe going into a fib. Phyllis > > > > Hi Phyllis - I do get nervous when I have medical procedures because of the > fear of going back into NSR. Guest guest
, thanks for letting me know you got a chuckle about me driving my fingernail into my EPs cornea. You surely have quite an odd sense of humor. PS: glad to hear you are recovering well. Please keep us posted. Someday in the near future I hope to have a procedure as well. susanr20z03 srichards@...> wrote: Web Page - http://www.afibsupport.com List owner: AFIBsupport-owner For help on how to use the group, including how to drive it via email, send a blank email to AFIBsupport-help Nothing in this message should be considered as medical advice, or should be acted upon without consultation with one's physician. Guest guest
, I really found myself laughing about it all day, at odd times. Maybe it was the way that you wrote it, oh, by the way, I just drove my fingernail into my EPs cornea. Unless, of course, you really did it?! If so, you must be emailing us from the Big House! Guest guest
, please be careful about laughing at odd times of the day, your phone is bugged, your data is mined, and there are surveilance cameras everywhere. Unexplained laughing, for no apparrent reason, can and will make you suspect. There is always an extra bed in the asylum regardless of the budget shortfall. Actually I did say NO, thank you very much. As my hand trembled deep in my pocket and my brow ran rivulets of betrayal unmaking my terror of the big A. I am truly very glad to hear that it gave you a nice chuckle. It does make me a small partner in your healing and I will hold that dear in these dismal days. susanr20z03 srichards@...> wrote: , I really found myself laughing about it all day, at odd times.
