Guest guest Posted March 23, 2007 Report Share Posted March 23, 2007 American Medical Response of Houston in conjunction with the National College of Technical Instruction (NCTI) will be conducting an EMT-Basic certification course beginning April 10, 2007 (DSHS #116215-675). The classes will be Tuesday, Thursday nights from 1830-2200 and alternating Saturdays from 0800-1700. Classroom hours total 167 hours. The hospital rotations will be through the Memorial-Hermann system, and ambulance internship includes County ESD-1 and MCHD EMS. The cost of the course will be $750.00. This figure includes the cost for EVOC, BTLS-B, and PEPP-B courses which are built-in to the schedule, as well as uniform shirt, textbook, and workbook.
