Guest guest
We've just begun Clomodine for sleep on the recommendation of the group. It is early days but it seems to be working fine. We use it inconjunction with Vallergan. We have started him on clomidine in the daytime too, and it seems to have a calming effect on his frenetic behaviour. Long may it continue. Does anyone have any experience using clonidine for behavioural problems?? & Gwynne 's parents
Guest guest
, How does the Vallergan work? Does it keep asleep? We tried Ambien but found out that when we were crushing it, it was ruining it's effect. Guest guest
& Gwynne, We have not yet tried clonidine with . However, none of her meds seem to be working very well right now. We had an appointment with the psychiatrist before she left school and we agreed that once break is over, we are going to do an overhaul of all of her meds. One that we discussed was clonidine. The doctor called it " the tried and true for OCD " medication. I was glad to see your post saying that it was used for sleep also. I worry about changing her meds because her zyprexa (which is maxed and not working now for behaviors) has been our only relief for sleep at night. It looks like if we do switch to clonidine that there might be hope in the good sleep continuing. Sheryl Mom to (20)
Guest guest
Sheryl, My mind has gone blank. What's the non-generic name for clonidine? I assume that is seeing n and wonder what he now concludes is the best OCD med. Please let me know - and let's talk again! Martha
