Guest guest
I had an attitude about 'taking a pill every day for the rest of my life'. Not that it changes the fact that we do have to take pill ( or more than one) a day but if you consider that we're not actually taking a medicine, that is to say what we are taking is a hormone replacement, something that we are giving our bodies cuz they can't make enough of the stuff on their own anymore.... I can now look at it as a positive thing that I'm doing to HELP my body everyday, like eating right, and exercising, taking vitamins, wearing sunglasses, that kind of stuff.... I'm doing a positive. It's a mind trick... but it works for me... Very similar situation! In general, I feel much better, in terms of controlled heart beat rate, less anxious ,etc. However, I don't like the idea of taking pills for the rest of my life, and be dependent on medication. This is wat I have learned so far, it might be helpful. Don't overeat, and make sure that u take ur hormone replacement pill on empty stomach. If u are taking calcium, make sure it is at least 4 hours between ur pills, and exercises... I also think u are not getting enough hormone. check ur lab result. best of luck
