Guest guest
OK, here's the thing. I need a new digital camera. I love taking pictures. I want something small that I can keep with me all the time, that takes great photos, that works great in automatic mode but also offers manual controls so I can play with those when I feel like it. So, does anyone have a camera they particularly like who would like to share the make and model of it so I can see if it suits my needs (ex: Sony DSC-P93A, which is the one I'm replacing because the motor that runs the zoom lens in and out and focuses on things is going bad so I get blurry pics). I'm hesitant to go with Sony again just because of this, though it's been a great camera for the two years I've had it. Thanks!!! www.Lane.com www.IwakuniMCAS.com http://stewartlane.com/gallery/ Be sure to check at the bottom of every set of pictures for more pages in the set. Guest guest
I have a small Minolta Dimage and I love it. I bought it from www.overstock.com and got an extended warranty which I haven't had to use yet, but I'm glad to have it. It's not really high end, but it does have many adjustments that I can make myself and I like the pictures that I get from it... Guest guest
HI , I went thru three digital camera before I got he one I know have and LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE! It’s a CASIO ELXIM – S-s600 -- it takes great pics and even movies plus it’s TINY as all heck – which means I can stick it in a jacket or shirt pocket. I got the weird orange color model but they come in plain silver. Here’s a link to it and there ‘s a Japanese and American version of it: http://www.digitalcamerainfo.com/content/Casio-Exilim-EX-S600-Digital-Camera-Review-.htm Sue

Guest guest
Thanks sue, I'm glad to hear you like that one, it's one I was considering I want something that small, or maybe a little larger...I was comparing the Fujifilm F30, the Casio line (all of the Exilim's, they're so small) and the new Canon SD line (SD700IS, SD800IS, because they have Image Stabilization to help reduce blur when you move your hand slightly when snapping the pic). I think the orange color is neat, my Japanese cell phone is that color LOL! It's about the size of the camera. It actually takes decent pics too but it's of course not at all as good as a real camera, but the little one in the phone doesn't do half bad and I've used it on many occasions when I didn't want to lug around my Sony or forgot it. www.Lane.com www.IwakuniMCAS.com http://stewartlane.com/gallery/ Be sure to check at the bottom of every set of pictures for more pages in the set. Guest guest
I absolutely love this camera — the orange is really a cool color too and I plan to have this camera a long time! I bet the prices will be lower where you are as well. I got mine on ebay for about $100 or more under retail so I am cool with that, though it was not cheap. The movie feature with a 1 gb or more memory card is decent too and I just love the ease of use Sue Thanks sue, I'm glad to hear you like that one, it's one I was considering I want something that small, or maybe a little larger...I was comparing the Fujifilm F30, the Casio line (all of the Exilim's, they're so small) and the new Canon SD line (SD700IS, SD800IS, because they have Image Stabilization to help reduce blur when you move your hand slightly when snapping the pic).
