Thanks Ruth for your response! Which one were you on? And I

agree,,,you think when you finally finish treatments you will start to

feel better then bam you go on inhibitors and they make you feel bad!

Was your oncon upset about you stopping them?

Hi Steph,

I was on Arimidex. The Onc was not particularly happy, wanted me to

try Aromasin, but I figured he wasn't the one who had to live with the

side effects. We did do a trial of off than on with the Arimidex to

make sure it was causing the problem and it was. All the aromatase

inhibitors work pretty much the same so I was unwilling to use any of

them given the side effects. Just think we are told the aromatase

inhibitors are better with fewer side effects than Tomoxifen.

Tomoxifen is now generic the aromatase inhibitors cost about 300

dollars a month, 10 bucks a pop. Hmmmmmmm, what is the motivation

here? Forgive me just thinking out loud.
