Guest guest
, Di wanted pierced ears for a time. Her Dad took her. (I wasn't going to). The girl said her lobes had a great deal of cartilege to try to get the needle through , and that they were fat and would be hard to fit. So that ended that. We did the stick-ons-they don't stick for long. Then little clip-ons. Sometimes they hurt, needed the pads, but they were cute. And everything you can do to your nails. Right now she doesn't want to wear jewelry, she doesn't feel like fussing with it. Typical girl, always changing her mind. lol. in Ma. Guest guest
Hi , My daughter has hers pierced! She had them done when she was 6 months old at the pediatricians office. She is almost 18 now and has never bothered with them at all....Good luck with it if you decide to have Carmen's done... Tia
Guest guest
Hi all, Do any of your little chargers (or adult chargers) have their ears pierced? If so, can you tell me when you got them pierced? Carmen loves to look at earrings and pretends to take my jewelry and put it on her ear--like she wants to have them in her ears. I'd like to do this. She does have a " charge " ear, but has lobes--although they are pretty small. Thanks, mom to Zachary 5 years and charming Carmen 2 years (CHARGE)
Guest guest
i always had the choice but i thought personaly it would bring too much attention to my hearing aids. Maby i will see when i end up getting bahas. Id need to think about it i suppose. its a personal/family kind of decision I guess. On the other hand the earings could distract from the " charge ear " and she could wear it as a symble that she is beutifle even with her charge features. Just throwing some different points of view out i guess lol. Chantelle -- My spelling's kinda wobbly. It's good spelling but the letters wobble and end up in the wrong places. - Winnie the Pooh
Guest guest
Chantelle, I always love it when people look at and consider various points of view. Knowledge certainly is powerful. You did a nice job at looking at some important issues relating to ear piercing. One factor that we have considered with Kendra in relation to ear piercing is that I, myself, have a metal intolerance. That is, by wearing certain earrings I can get an irritation, a local infection, or a more general infection such as a strep throat, due to the fact that I am sensitive to certain metals. Because Kendra has had tests that show a possible similar problem, I have decided not to have her ears pierced. Her sister also has difficulty with certain metals. It is such a bummer because I love pierced earrings! I'm sorry to have to put a 'fly in the ointment', but thought I would mention our experience since it so obviously contraindicates pierced ears. proud owner of, but extremely infrequent wearer of, lovely pierced earrings Re: Ear piercing >i always had the choice but i thought personaly it would bring too much > attention to my hearing aids. Guest guest
I got my ear pierced twice. The first time was when I was 10 years old, but had to let them go because the backing interfered with my hearing aids. I have small ears and the hearing aids I wore back then went to the bottom of my lobe. The second time I got them peirced was last year, and I still have pierced ears. They are great, but if I want dangle earrings, they have to be short, and light, if they aren't then my right ear lobe feels like the earring is going to fall right through the hole. If you want a picture, I can send you one. Sincerely yours; Krista. 27 year old CHARGEr. wrote: Hi all, Do any of your little chargers (or adult chargers) have their ears pierced? Guest guest
I wore clip on earrings for the majority of my life, and they hurt so bad - made my ears bleed. But I still wore them. I prefer pierced then clip. Sincerely yours; Krista. 27 year old CHARGEr mdlinda@... wrote: , Di wanted pierced ears for a time. Her Dad took her. (I wasn't going to). Guest guest
Maddie, That sounds like a great idea. Carmen has one lobe a bit bigger than the other and we might have to do that for her also. > > , > > Di wanted pierced ears for a time. Her Dad took her. Guest guest
Patty has pierced ears. We had a doctor do it because of the lobe thing but it worked. She had it done when she was 14 and I think she's worn earrings about a dozen times since them. She keeps them open though for something special including if or when she gets married.
