Guest guest
Pam, I don't blame you a bit for not saying anything. There's a time and place for everything and that sounded like it wasn't the right time for bringing this up. Sounds like you do a great job of interacting with parents otherwise. I was really looking for other's experiences, prospectives. Ever since I had that strange reaction to my noticing another families child(and I didn't even say anything at the shower...it was after the fact) it has made me more hesitant. I keep telling myself, " well at least he has a diagnosis now and someday his parents will deal with it and maybe even be glad I noticed him and he was able to get proper help " .
