A week of celebration and remembrance

Another year has rolled around, and we come up on a week that brings up

MANY strong feelings in me.

Monday, the 15th, will be the four year anniversary of this group (The

Thyroid Support Group)... yep.. four years since and I started out

on this adventure.

Friday, the 19th marks one year since 's passing. She was so happy

with our third anniversary party last year!

So because I know how proud was of all of you, just as I am proud

of all of you... for your courage in stepping out into the world to learn

more about thyroid and your health and striving against all the odds for

a better life I want to make this an entire week of both celebration and

remembrance. We can't be sad about losing , she wouldn't like that,

not one bit....

All of this week there will be an Open House at the TTSG Cafe

will make screening easier, the Cafe is a closed, invitation only group

for just us)

Please feel welcome to share whatever virtual goodies that you'd like to

bring. We'll have something for everyone including, in honor of ...

a cheese bar along the back wall, and just to the right of that a Root

Beer bar!

Cold weather is finally hitting the US so the fire pit will be blazing

with plenty of goodies to roast and toast ala stick.

We'll eat, and talk and laugh and if the tears start to well, someone...

someone.. will have to tell a joke to make us smile again... cuz we

should only be smiling when remembering .
