Guest guest
Huh huh!! LOL. but it was SO bad.......(how bad was it?) I picked them up Sat. night after they went out for pizza- has a huge pizza box in her hand, plus a bottle of pepsi on top (so much for diet) which is threatening to role off and into the gutter at any moment. So, silly me, offers to take the pepsi.....guess what I got back- " MoTHer, I'm FINE " ..... Well, by now, all this 'fineness' is wearing a little thin.....right along with my patience..... and got a rapid fire 60 second lecture on how some things are just normal politeness, you know!!!!! " FINE " ! was the response I got. LOL. Luckily for her, she has a 1/2 hr. recovery time...and remembers it's WISE to tell Mom that you love her. lol. in Ma. Guest guest
and - I think this may be in my future - even with my Lil' Miss Compliant Aubrie. As we've been discussing the return to public school next year, I will occasionally ask about what she thinks she'll need to make it work. She always insists " I'm fine, Mom. I can hear now! " Ok, well, moderate loss instead of severe is an improvement - but -geesh - and she still doesn't really understand the limitations of her vision or her motor and balance stuff. I'm glad she doesn't think of herself as different or less than fine. But it does make life more challenging for us moms!
