Guest guest
Hi, I was diagnosed with IDC in April just after my 58th birthday. My tumor was ER/PR+, but like you my lymph nodes were involved (5 of 20). I think the whole process of dealing with the cancer and treatments is overwhelming at times, but I was so glad to have so much support from the gals who'd already traveled the road before me who kept reassuring me that " you can do it. " Like you, I dealt better when I had factual information, than the in-between times. I hope you have gotten good information from your surgeon by now. Tomorrow I finish the last of my regular radiation treatments with only 5 boost treatments left to do on the tumor area only. Two months after finishing chemotherapy I have over an inch of thick, mostly curly, white hair covering my head and am looking forward to enjoying 2007. Happy New Year to You ... and remember " you can do it " . We'll all be here to listen to you and support you. SharonK-MN
