Guest guest
Look at what all happens inSIDE the thyroid, then as it heads for the body cells, etc.....Something called retinoic acid (is Vit A derived from this or does it take A to produce it??) that is the key to transport and conversion directly into DNA transcription, i.e., the way the thyroid hormone is used or rather whether or not it IS used properly. I went off into the various links on this that I have never before investigated, and, though some of the reading made me both dizzy and sleepy, I stuck with. It really kind of opens your understanding of what we're talking about, when it comes to words like "follicles", "thyroglobulin", thyroidperoxidase, and the like, and HOW it is (not why) that the thyroid is ultimately destroyed in Hashimoto's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thyroid
