Guest guest
Wanda: The doctor was very gentle taking the drain out. It barely hurt. What hurt was the snipping ths stitches that secured the drainage tube. The skin had started to heal over the stitches. That really smarted. I am just glad that the tube is out. I am very sore across my chest where the tube had been but that will get better. Did find out from the pathology report that I got a copy of today that the tumor that was removed was in total 1.10 cm and hard and firm. It had not gone beyond the breast. However, from the report, it appears that the tumor was agitated by the biopsy and had started growing and invading more breast tissue. I am glad it is gone but now am anxious to find what the options for treatment are. I hope, Wanda, that you continue to feel better. I had a partial hysterectomy in 1985. My uterus was falling out. I know how painful that can be. Having both surgeries at the same time would be very difficult. Hope heal quickly. Take care and I will be keeping you in my prayers.
