I am sorry but I must have missed some of my list server emails. Which bills

is this pertaining to: Essential Services or Assault of a Public Servant?

I just spoke with the office of Rep. Pierson and this is the reply that was

sent to me about the bill. It seams that EMS of ALL types are included.

Below it the email I was sent.

Mr. Verrett,

Thank you for your email. Rep. Pierson did add Emergency Medical Services

personnel to the bill during committee. Although that was included in the

information we provided about the bill, the press failed to include that in

their stories regarding the hearing and the passage of the bill in

committee.

Rep. Pierson has a regard for emergency medical service personnel, which is

why we changed the bill to include EMS providers.

Neither, it changes the penalties for intoxication assault and intoxication

manslaughter in the event that a drunk driver hits a firefighter, peace officer,

OR (drumroll please) an EMS provider.
