It seams that EMS of ALL types are included. Below it the email I was sent. Mr. Verrett, Thank you for your email. Rep. Pierson did add Emergency Medical Services personnel to the bill during committee. Although that was included in the information we provided about the bill, the press failed to include that in their stories regarding the hearing and the passage of the bill in committee. Rep. Pierson has a regard for emergency medical service personnel, which is why we changed the bill to include EMS providers. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me by calling . We have received quite a few e-mails, calls, etc. about adding EMS to our bill. If you could help spread the word that EMS personnel were added on Tuesday, I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much for emailing us and if there is anything we can do for you in the future, please let us know. Best, Pretty fast response and not just a " canned " message.
