I have ordered and received my DHEA, 5 mgs/day, from VitaCost.com. They are in capsule form, have the DHEA, magnesium stearate, cellulose, the capsules are Kosher gelatin it says, and the contents are a pure white, which would mean no colorings, etc.....I took the first one today, when I got up. That's how it says to take it. It is a very small amt. I'll stay alert for anything "weird" going on with me. The brand is Neutraceutical Systems from Neutriceutical Sciences Institute. This is a time released form, 6 to 8 hrs, supposedly.

the insert in synthyroid tells you that hair loss is a side effect of

the drug, not to mention the fact that you lose hair being hypo too.

you get a double dose of hair loss.

I didn't have any hair loss with my hypothyroid until and Endo took away my Eltroxin and put me on Synthroid. It fell out in handfulls. When I told him about it (and other things), he said "your numbers are fine, it's not your thyroid". As soon as I could get a doc to put me back on the Eltroxin, all of the new symptoms and the hair loss stopped... JudyP
